Perrine Delacour: A Journey in Professional Golf
For our March edition, we are honored to welcome Perrine Delacour, a professional golfer and two-time Olympian (Tokyo 2020 & Paris 2024).
Born in Laon, France, Perrine has been thriving in Orlando for the past 15 years. Her golfing journey began at the age of eight, fueled by the inspiration of her siblings.
Turning professional in 2013, Delacour quickly made a name for herself in women’s golf, finishing as a runner-up at the Eagle Classic and Symetra Tour Championship, which placed her eighth in the Symetra Tour rankings and earned her an LPGA Tour exemption for 2014.
In 2019, her efforts culminated in victories at the Four Winds Invitational and Prasco Charity Championship, earning her the Symetra Tour Player of the Year award and securing her promotion to the LPGA Tour in 2020.
Perrine’s Olympic journey is far more than a series of competitions; it is a powerful emotional experience that resonates deep within her soul.
Perrine proudly represented France at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, finishing tied for 29th place. At the 2024 Paris Olympics, she had the incredible honor of hitting the opening tee shot in her home country. Reflecting on this profound experience, she shared the emotional significance of the moment, especially while “La Marseillaise” played on the first tee.
She won first on the Ladies European Tour at the 2024 Dormy Open in Helsingborg and tied for 11th place at the 2023 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship.
Beyond the greens, Perrine embraces her passions for reading, cooking, and cherishing quality time with her family.
