Our October picnic was quite a success. About seventy people attended: adults, including the pétanque fans, as well as children and their parents.

Our November picnic/pétanque will take place at Mead Botanical Garden (Winter Park), on Sunday, November 12, starting at 12:30 pm, with a potluck lunch, followed by pétanque (French ball games) matches.

As far as our French school is concerned, it runs at full speed, both for adults and children, online or in-presence in our office.

Regarding children’s activities, we offer this month:

● On November 3rd, starting at 6:30 pm in AFGO’s office, a family movie night and potluck. Please look out here for the signup genius link to register.

● On November 11, from 9 to 11 am, Saturday activities (craft and hands-on in French). Subject: Sciences. Registration is required.

Season 29 of the “Discover France and Its Culture” weekly lectures will start on November 3rd and will last until December 9th, with a pause for Thanksgiving. We remind you that the lectures are given by Muriel in English on Friday evening, and in French on Saturday evening.

Season 29 is devoted to the Picardie region, in the Northern part of France. As usual, it will provide details about geography, history, gastronomy, art and literature in this region of France. We remind you that the registrations will be accepted only for the whole 5-week season.
