June has arrived, bringing the excitement of summer, new adventures, and many opportunities to celebrate the French language and Francophone culture together.
As we reflect on a wonderful Graduation Evening and the achievements of our students throughout the year, we are also delighted to welcome the first campers of our French Fun & Learning Summer Camp.
As summer begins, we look forward to sharing another month of French language, friendship, and community with you.
We would also like to wish the French national team the very best of luck during the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Our community will be proudly cheering for Les Bleus throughout the tournament.

Graduation Evening Celebration
As the school year comes to a close, we hope everyone is enjoying this exciting season, whether celebrating a graduation, completing another successful year of learning, or looking forward to a well-deserved summer break.
We are incredibly proud of our students and all they have accomplished this year. Our Graduation Evening was a beautiful celebration of their dedication, perseverance, and passion for the French language. We were delighted to welcome an exceptional turnout of students, families, friends, and community members who came together to mark this special occasion.
The evening featured wonderful student performances, memorable moments, and the recognition of our learners’ achievements throughout the year. Seeing so many members of our community gathered to celebrate made the event especially meaningful.
Congratulations to all of our students for their hard work, commitment, and progress in French. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this Graduation Evening such a warm, joyful, and memorable celebration.

Summer Camp Is Underway!!
We were delighted to welcome our little campers this week for the first session of our French Fun & Learning Summer Camp, Les P’tits Francophones (June 1–5). From games and creative activities to language immersion and cultural discoveries, our young learners have already begun their French summer adventure!
If you’d like your child to join the fun, there’s still time to register for our remaining camp sessions:

- Les P’tits Génies (June 22–26)
- Les P’tits Aventuriers (July 20–24)
- Les P’tits Artistes (July 27–31)
Open to all levels—from beginners to native speakers. This is the perfect way for kids to learn French while having fun!

This month, Mona will take us on a cultural journey through Lebanon—its landscapes, traditions, history, and rich multicultural heritage. Discover the flavors, stories, and vibrant spirit that make this country so unique within the Francophone world.

JUNE 14 – Picnic
Join us for our monthly Pique-nique Pétanque on Sunday, June 14, 2026, at 12:30 PM at Mead Botanical Garden in Winter Park.
Gather with friends, family, and members of the AFGO community for a relaxed afternoon of good food, friendly conversation, and pétanque. Bring a dish to share for our potluck picnic and enjoy a fun day outdoors in one of Winter Park’s most beautiful settings.
Whether you’re a seasoned pétanque player or trying it for the first time, everyone is welcome. We look forward to sharing another wonderful afternoon of French culture, community, and conviviality with you!

Mark your calendars for our next Monthly Movie Night on Saturday, June 27, 2026, starting at 6:00 PM at the Alliance Française of Greater Orlando.
As always, bring a dish to share for our friendly potluck dinner and enjoy an evening of French-language cinema in great company. The movie selection for June is still being finalized, but we promise another cinematic experience.
