December 3rd – The Wine, Cheese, and Art evening
After a long pause, the Wine and Cheese evening came back to the Alliance Française of Greater Orlando.
It was a nice evening with the participation this year of Yann Abily, a French painter who lives in the Miami area. He exposed his vibrant and colorful paintings on the Alliance’s walls, bringing joyful images of France, particularly from his home region of Brittany.
December 11 – The Christmas picnic at Mead Botanical Garden.
Surrounded by Christmas decorations, our potluck buffet offered a table full of delicious homemade and succulent dishes!
The Christmas picnic was an occasion to socialize, laugh, and share a good time. The school mixed with the regulars of the picnic, creating a friendly community, speaking both English and French.
For the children, we set up a craft table. They had fun making their own Christmas decorations before running in the park, looking to solve their treasure hunt.
While the regulars opened an intense Pétanque tournament
It was a fun afternoon, for everybody!
