The Alliance Francaise of Greater Orlando is now offering online adult French classes via Zoom.
Our Zoom classes work exactly like a regular class. Your teacher is with you, teaching you step by step, answering all your questions, and the classroom dynamics are as interesting and intense as they would be in an ordinary setting.
Classes for adults are planned to suit your busy schedule, Monday through Saturday, from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm, and are scheduled according to the availabilities of both students and teachers.
Classes are held in private, semi-private or small groups (4 to 8 students). The class duration is typically 1.5 hours for private and semi-private lessons, and 2 hours for small groups.
Our sessions start throughout the year according to the number of registered students and offer an optimal flexibility to maximize learning opportunities.
At AFGO, we use French or bilingual manuals, specific learning tools especially conceived by our French teachers, as well as other material such as books, newspapers, movies, CDs, computer-based resources, and music.
We focus on your individual level.
For advanced students, an informal oral assessment via telephone will allow us to find the best group for you according to your current level and learning objectives.
For Advanced Students, C1 and C2:
Adapted lessons, created for you by our teachers, according to your specific needs: practice your oral skills; enhance your vocabulary; master grammatical pitfalls; translate complex or technical writing from English to French and French to English; write essays, professional letters, short stories, poems; study French literature; upgrade your knowledge of the French culture...
These advanced levels are especially centered on the 19th and the 20th centuries (Guy de Maupassant, Emile Zola, Balzac, Camus, Jean-Paul Sartre, Jean Giraudoux, etc.)
Culture and Conversation:
For very advanced students only.
Discussions held in small group, essentially around French and European oriented cultural topics, on Friday evenings. An excellent way to use your current knowledge as well as to improve your vocabulary, grammar, and culture in the language we all love!
The total price, for groups of 4 to 8 students, is $ 295 per blocks of 16 hours + $ 45 for registration fees.
We don't accept credit cards, only checks, money orders, or payment via Zelle.
