From our end-of-session Graduation Evening and engaging cultural talk to our Friday French Chat, movie night, and outdoor picnic, this month is filled with moments to connect, learn, and celebrate together.
As we continue our DELF exam season, prepare for our Summer Camp and new teen program, and get ready to welcome Antoine Griezmann to Orlando this summer, we are delighted to support learners of all ages on their French language journey.

Graduation Party

The Alliance Française of Greater Orlando is hosting its end-of-session Graduation Evening on Friday, May 8, bringing together students, families, and friends for a warm and elegant celebration of our learners’ achievements. The evening will begin with a delightful performance by our young students, followed by a graduation ceremony recognizing the progress and dedication of all participants. The event will conclude with a convivial reception, where guests will enjoy drinks and light refreshments while celebrating another successful session within our vibrant Francophone community.
French Fun & Learning Summer Camp is Coming Soon!

Get ready for a summer full of fun, creativity, and French immersion at the Alliance Française of Greater Orlando! Our French Fun & Learning Summer Camp welcomes children ages 4–10 for engaging weeks of language discovery through art, music, games, and hands-on activities, guided by experienced French teachers in a warm, small-group setting.
This year’s exciting themed weeks include:
- Les P’tits Francophones (June 1–5)
- Les P’tits Chefs (June 15–19)
- Les P’tits Génies (June 22–26)
- Les P’tits Aventuriers (July 20–24)
- Les P’tits Artistes (July 27–31)
Open to all levels—from beginners to native speakers. This is the perfect way for kids to learn French while having fun!
NEW! Special Summer Program for Teenagers!
La Francophonie Week pour les ados
We’re excited to introduce a brand-new program just for teens! From June 1 to June 5 (1:00–4:00 PM), teenagers can enjoy a dynamic and immersive French experience designed specifically for their age group.

- Focus: Conversation, culture, and interactive activities in French

DELF Spring 2026 Exam Session
We are currently hosting our DELF Prim exam session at the Alliance Française of Greater Orlando! This special session, taking place in early May, is designed for children ages 8–12 and marks an exciting milestone in their French learning journey.
Our DELF exam season will continue with another round of DELF Tout Public exams in June, offering learners of all ages the opportunity to earn an official French diploma and celebrate their progress in the language.

Kick off spring with our monthly Pique-nique Pétanque on Sunday, May 17, 2026, at 12:30 PM at Mead Botanical Garden in Winter Park.
Enjoy a relaxed afternoon with friends, family, and the AFGO community, complete with good food, fun pétanque games, and the fresh spring air. Bring a dish to share for our potluck picnic and celebrate the season outdoors!
MAY 23 – Movie Night

Join us for our Monthly Movie Night on Saturday, May 23, 2026, starting at 6:00 PM!
Bring a dish to share for a friendly potluck dinner, then settle in for an immersive evening of French-language cinema as we present Eiffel, a captivating historical drama inspired by the life of Gustave Eiffel.
Blending romance, ambition, and history, this visually stunning film offers a unique glimpse into the story behind one of France’s most iconic landmarks.
MAY 29 – Cultural Talk

Following its postponement, our May Cultural Talk has been rescheduled to Friday, May 29, 2026.
Join us for “Running a DMC: Behind the Scenes of Extraordinary Travel Experiences,” an engaging discussion exploring what it takes to design exceptional travel experiences. The evening will begin with welcome drinks at 6:00 PM, followed by the talk and Q&A.

Our first-ever dictée at the Alliance Française… and what a start!
The Alliance Française of Greater Orlando proudly hosted its first-ever Dictée, and what a wonderful success it was! We were delighted to welcome Mr. Dictionnaire for this special occasion, adding an extra touch of excitement to the event.

Culture, Community & Creativity at the Orlando Museum of Art
Last month, the Alliance Française of Greater Orlando enjoyed a beautiful and inspiring weekend at the Orlando Museum of Art.
The weekend began with a guided visit of the David LaChapelle exhibition, followed by a lively day of community engagement, cultural exchange, and creative activities for children.
We extend our sincere thanks to Council 101 OMA for the wonderful organization of this event, and to everyone who came to say bonjour. It was a pleasure sharing these special moments together.
Friday French Chat – April Recap
Our April edition of the Friday French Chat offered a wonderful evening dedicated to Algeria, led by Faïza. Participants enjoyed a rich exploration of Algerian culture, traditions, and cuisine, along with engaging and lively conversations in French.
