December was filled with joy, and we were thrilled to meet so many of you at our holiday picnic. Due to a large event at Mead Garden, we had to quickly relocate to Langford Park, but your presence and enthusiasm made the day a wonderful success!
The festivities continue in January with our Best Galette des Rois and Chandeleur event at the Alliance, where we’ll share this cherished French tradition together.

Start the New Year with a Fresh Resolution: Learning French!
Our in-person Beginner French Group Class for adults, held on Mondays from 6 PM to 8 PM starting January 6th, is officially filled! Taught by Véronique, this class promises an exciting journey into the French language and culture.
If you missed your chance, don’t worry! Another beginner adult class will start on February 11th, from 6 PM to 8 PM, with our teacher Luciana.
We also have something for the little ones! A Beginner French Class for children aged 8 to 10 years old will start on February 12th, every Wednesday from 4 PM to 5 PM, with our amazing teacher Mona.

Best Galette des Rois Contest 2025
Celebrate the New Year with an afternoon of delicious tradition and fun at the Alliance Française! Savor a selection of galettes, enjoy a glass of wine, and cast your vote for the best galette.

Pique-Nique / Pétanque
Join us for a potluck lunch picnic followed by a friendly game of pétanque! Bring your favorite dish to share and enjoy a fun afternoon with friends and family in the beautiful setting of Mead Botanical Garden.

Movie Night / Ciné Club
Join us for an evening at AFGO’s office with a potluck dinner, followed by the screening of a French movie with English subtitles.
After the movie, we will have a short discussion to share thoughts and insights.
